How We Review

How We Review Software

We judge software by workflow fit and long-term value, not by feature count.

Our criteria

  1. Problem fit – the specific job the tool does, and for whom.
  2. Ease of use – onboarding, learning curve, day-to-day usability.
  3. Integrations – how it connects to the tools teams already use.
  4. Pricing and value – plan limits, hidden costs, annual vs monthly, total cost as the team grows.
  5. Support and reliability – documentation, support channels, track record.

We label how each review was researched

Each review states one of these at the top, so you know what it is based on:

  • Hands-on tested – we used the product ourselves (trial or paid) and include our own screenshots.
  • Research-based – we analyzed the vendor's documentation, pricing pages, published data and independent user reviews, without hands-on use.

We never describe a product as tested unless we tested it.

Prices and deals

Prices are checked on the vendor's official pricing page and dated. Coupons and deals are listed only when we can verify them; expired offers are removed.

Independence

Affiliate relationships never decide our verdicts or rankings. Vendors cannot pay for a positive review. See our Affiliate Disclosure and Editorial Disclosure Policy.
