Aspire is a finance platform for startups and small to mid-sized businesses. One account combines multi-currency business accounts, international payments, corporate cards, expense claims, bills and invoices, with Xero and QuickBooks integrations. Aspire says more than 50,000 businesses use it. It is not a bank: in Singapore it operates as a payment services company under the Monetary Authority of Singapore, and in the US, AFT US LLC (doing business as Aspire) provides accounts through Column N.A., Member FDIC.
| Plan | Monthly fee | Key inclusions | Cost per year |
|---|---|---|---|
| Singapore Basic | SGD 0 | 8 currency accounts, 1% cashback on ads and SaaS, up to 200 virtual cards, 5 free spend users | SGD 0 |
| Singapore Premium | SGD 15 | 5 free international transfers a month, 0% FX on the first SGD 13,000, 1.2% cashback, 10 free users | SGD 180 |
| US Basic | $0 | 13 currency accounts, FX from 0.22% above mid-market, free ACH, wire and check transfers | $0 |
Yearly costs are our own calculation. In Singapore, extra spend users cost SGD 4 each per month and Basic FX starts from 0.46%. In the US, sending a SWIFT transfer costs $5 (SHA) or $15 (OUR). Aspire's optional Yield and Treasury products are investments, not deposits.
Most small teams should start on Basic, which is free and covers accounts, cards, expenses and invoicing. In Singapore, Premium pays off if you send several international transfers a month or exchange up to SGD 13,000, since 0% FX and free transfers can outweigh the SGD 15 fee. US-incorporated companies use the separate US Basic account; complex firms can ask sales about custom plans.
Aspire is worth it for startups in its supported countries that pay suppliers, ad platforms and software in several currencies and want cards and expenses in one free account. The trade-offs: it is not a bank, onboarding requires company documents and compliance checks, and the best FX and cashback terms sit on the paid Singapore plan.
Aspire's own comparison pages name Airwallex, Wise and Revolut for Singapore businesses, and Brex, Mercury and Relay for US companies.

Yes. Aspire's help center lists the United States among its 16 supported countries, and its US site offers a $0 Basic account through AFT US LLC, with banking provided by Column N.A., Member FDIC. Our link opens the Singapore page, so switch the region to United States before signing up.
Companies incorporated in Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Maldives, Mongolia, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, the United States and Vietnam. Aspire says it cannot currently open accounts for businesses registered in any other country.
The Basic plan is free in Singapore and the US, and Aspire says there are no setup fees and no minimum balance. You still pay usage fees such as FX margins, SWIFT transfer fees in the US and SGD 4 per extra spend user per month in Singapore.
No. Aspire says it is not a bank in Singapore or any other country. In Singapore it provides payment services under exemptions granted under the Payment Services Act, and in the US its deposit accounts are provided by Column N.A., Member FDIC, with pass-through FDIC insurance subject to conditions.
Only with extra review. Aspire says businesses that own a coin or run an exchange are treated as high risk and need Compliance approval, while businesses with indirect crypto links go through enhanced due diligence. All account openings are subject to its Acceptable Use Policy.
