Keap pricing starts at $249 a month only if you pay for a full year up front ($2,988). Month to month, the same plan is $299. That one price buys the whole platform for 2 users and 1,500 contacts, but it is not the whole bill: Keap requires a one-time implementation package, currently listed at $500, and the price rises in steps as your contact list grows. For a typical small business, the real first-year cost lands between about $3,500 and $5,600.
Below is what Keap charges in 2026, what changes the number, and a simple test for whether $249 a month makes sense for you.
Keap pricing in 2026: one plan, two ways to pay
Keap dropped feature-based tiers. Everyone gets the same software, and you choose only the billing cycle, the contact count and any extra users.
| What you pay for | Billed monthly | Billed yearly |
|---|---|---|
| Keap platform (2 users, 1,500 contacts) | $299/mo ($3,588 a year) | $2,988 a year (works out to $249/mo) |
| Each extra user | $39/mo | $384 a year in Keap's plan data |
| Implementation package (required) | $500 one time (shown crossed out from $1,500) | |
| Text marketing, US only | Tier 1 included (500 texts, 100 voice minutes); Tiers 2 to 6 cost $24 to $279/mo | |
| Free trial | 14 days, no credit card; 25-email cap, no payments, no texting | |

The plan includes CRM with tags and lead scoring, email broadcasts and automations, landing pages and multi-page funnels, an appointment scheduler, quotes, invoices and checkout forms, a sales pipeline and reporting. You also get US-based phone support, 24/7 chat and a dedicated Customer Success Manager.
How your contact list changes Keap pricing
The $249 figure assumes 1,500 contacts or fewer. Keap's pricing calculator adds a contact charge in steps, and the cost per contact falls as the list grows. These are the steps in the calculator data on Keap's pricing page:
| Contacts | Billed monthly | Billed yearly (total) | Yearly, per month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Up to 1,500 | $299 | $2,988 | $249 |
| 2,500 | $335 | $3,334 | $278 |
| 4,000 | $383 | $3,780 | $315 |
| 6,500 | $449 | $4,428 | $369 |
| 11,500 | $539 | $5,292 | $441 |
| 26,500 | $719 | $7,020 | $585 |
| 50,000 (calculator maximum) | $779 | $7,596 | $633 |

Two practical points. First, each step is a band: 1,600 contacts already puts you on the 2,500 price. Second, above 50,000 contacts the calculator stops and asks you to chat with sales. Clean out bounced and inactive contacts before you import, because every old record you bring in can push you up a band.
What a first year with Keap really costs
Add the parts together and Keap pricing looks different from the headline number. Here are four common setups, using only the prices above:
- Solo coach, 1,500 contacts, 2 users, yearly: $2,988 + $500 implementation = $3,488, or about $291 a month.
- Same setup, monthly: $3,588 + $500 = $4,088.
- Small agency, 4,000 contacts, 3 users, yearly: $3,780 + $384 extra user + $500 = $4,664.
- Same agency, monthly: $4,596 + $468 + $500 = $5,564.

Payment processing is extra in every case. Keap says each processor, including its own Keap Pay, charges its standard fee per payment.
Monthly or yearly: the 10-month rule
Ten months of monthly billing ($2,990) already costs more than a full year paid up front ($2,988). So the yearly plan is cheaper if you will keep Keap for 10 months or longer.
The catch is the contract. Keap's FAQ says annual customers who cancel before the one-year term ends pay a $299 early termination fee, and any cancellation must be requested at least 10 days before the next invoice by calling support. If you are still moving data from another tool or testing whether your team will use automations, start monthly and switch once the first campaigns are running.
Is $249 a month worth it? A quick test
Keap is priced as a replacement for several tools at once, so compare it with what you would otherwise stitch together, and with what better follow-up could earn you. It tends to pay off when most of these are true:
- You sell services, coaching or courses where a lead needs several touches before buying, and you want those touches automated.
- You would use the extras: landing pages, booking links, quotes, invoices and checkout forms. If you only need a contact list and a pipeline, you are paying for features you will not open.
- Two to three people log in. The price covers 2 users; every extra seat adds $39 a month.
- You can spend time in the first month with Keap's implementation team. The package covers a business mapping session, 2 automations built for you, basic data import, up to 15 hours of migration work and strategy calls through month 12.
A rough break-even: on yearly billing at 1,500 contacts, Keap costs about $291 a month in year one. If automated follow-up wins you one extra client a month worth more than that, the software has paid for itself. If you cannot picture that client yet, a cheaper CRM is the safer start.
Cheaper options if you mainly need a sales CRM
Keap's price makes sense for marketing automation plus payments. If your need is narrower, these cost far less for a two-person team:
- Close Essentials: $35 per user a month billed yearly ($49 monthly), so about $70 a month for two people, with calling, email and SMS built in. Close offers a free trial with no credit card and a 30-day money-back guarantee; current offers are on our Close discount page.
- A free CRM: HubSpot, Zoho CRM and others still have free-forever plans. Our roundup of free CRMs for small business lists what each one allows before you have to pay.
If Keap still looks like the right fit, run the free trial first and build one real automation, such as a new-lead nurture sequence, before you commit. You can start Keap's 14-day trial without a card, and the yearly saving is tracked on our Keap deals page.
Until December 31, 2026, new Close customers who choose annual billing can enter code STACK20 at checkout for an extra 20% off the first year, which Close says works out to up to 60% off the monthly rate depending on plan. It applies to annual plans only and can't be combined with other promotions.
