monday CRM costs $12, $17 or $28 per seat a month on yearly billing for Basic, Standard and Pro, or $18, $25 and $41 if you pay month to month. The number most pricing guides skip is the seat minimum: plans start from 3 users, so the smallest real monday CRM bill is $36 a month, or $432 a year, on Basic.

Some pricing guides still quote monday CRM's monthly prices at $15, $20 and $33 a seat. The yearly prices have not changed, but the monthly ones shown on the pricing page this week are higher, which makes yearly billing the much better deal.

The 3-seat minimum: what you really pay

monday's FAQ says plans "start from 3 users", and teams above 40 users get a custom quote. Multiply the per-seat price by three to see the smallest possible bill:

monday CRM real yearly cost for 3 seats: Basic $432, Standard $612, Pro $1,008 billed yearly versus $648, $900 and $1,476 billed monthly

For a solo founder, that means paying for two empty seats. If you are on your own, a CRM priced per single user, such as Close Solo or a free plan, will usually cost less. Our best free CRM for small business guide compares the free options.

Is yearly billing 18% or 33% cheaper?

monday shows two different numbers. The pricing toggle says "SAVE 33%", while the pricing FAQ still says the yearly plan gives an 18% discount. Working it out from the listed prices:

  • Basic: $12 instead of $18 = 33% off
  • Standard: $17 instead of $25 = 32% off
  • Pro: $28 instead of $41 = 32% off

So at today's prices the saving is about a third. The trade-off is commitment: yearly is paid upfront. monday says that if you cancel a yearly subscription within 30 days of paying, you get a prorated refund of the remaining balance from the Admin section.

Which monday CRM plan do you actually need?

The plan limits, not the feature names, usually decide it:

monday CRM limits by plan: contacts and deals, automations, dashboards, quotes and invoices, workspaces, columns per board and mass email
Plan caps listed on monday.com/crm/pricing, October 7, 2026.
  • Basic holds 1,000 active contacts and deals, one dashboard and five columns per board, and lists no custom automations. It works for a small team that mainly needs a shared pipeline.
  • Standard is where most small sales teams land: 10,000 contacts and deals, 250 custom automations a month, five dashboards, and the communications timeline that shows every email, call and note per contact. It also adds AI features such as the meeting notetaker and Sidekick assistant.
  • Pro is for outbound teams: 100,000 contacts and deals, 25,000 automations a month, and mass email and email sequences, which are not on Basic or Standard.

A quick rule: if your follow-ups are manual today and you want them automated, start on Standard. If you send campaigns or sequences from the CRM, Pro is the only plan that does it.

Free trial, free plan and nonprofit pricing

monday CRM has no free plan. Its FAQ says the free option is a 14-day trial, after which you need a paid plan. The free plan for up to 2 seats you may have seen is for monday work management, a separate product without the CRM features. Qualified nonprofits can apply for discounted pricing or free access through monday's nonprofit program.

To test it properly, start the 14-day monday CRM trial, import a real slice of your pipeline, and build the one automation you care about most before picking a plan. Current offers are on our monday.com deals page.
