What one lookup really costs
On monthly plans, the price per lookup falls sharply as you move up:
- Essentials: $69 ÷ 100 = $0.69 per lookup
- Pro: $119 ÷ 250 = $0.48 per lookup
- Ultimate: $209 ÷ 1,000 = $0.21 per lookup

A lookup is only charged when RocketReach returns a verified email or phone. Unused lookups on monthly plans roll over while the plan stays active, and extra lookups cost about $0.25 each on Essentials and $0.45 on Pro and Ultimate, according to RocketReach's plan data.
Are "unlimited" annual plans really unlimited?
Mostly. Annual plans remove the monthly lookup allowance, but RocketReach applies a fair-use limit of 10,000 lookups a month. Exports to CSV, your CRM, the API or its Autopilot tool draw on a separate export allowance, which is smaller on Essentials than on Ultimate. If you plan to push thousands of contacts into a CRM, check the export allowance for your plan before buying.
The bigger catch is commitment. RocketReach's refund policy says subscriptions are non-refundable once they start, plans renew automatically, and unused credits expire when you cancel. Many of its negative reviews come from unexpected renewals. Start monthly if you are unsure, and set a reminder before any renewal date.
Which RocketReach plan should you choose?

- Essentials if you only send emails and look up fewer than about 100 contacts a month. On yearly billing it is the cheapest way into RocketReach.
- Pro if your team calls prospects. Phone numbers are the main reason to upgrade.
- Ultimate if you look up hundreds of contacts every month or need automation. Its monthly cost per lookup is a third of Essentials.

RocketReach vs pay-per-result alternatives
If you need emails more than phones, a credit-based tool can cost less per contact. FullEnrich, for example, charges about 3.5 to 6 cents per work email found and nothing for misses, but around 35 to 58 cents per mobile number. See our FullEnrich pricing breakdown for the full math. RocketReach makes more sense when you want a large searchable database, a browser extension and unlimited annual lookups in one tool.
