CallRail pricing starts at $50 a month on a yearly plan, or $55 if you pay month to month. That buys Lead Tracking with 5 local numbers, 250 minutes and 25 texts. The three bigger bundles cost $95, $150 and $195 a month billed yearly ($105, $165 and $215 monthly). Every plan says "plus additional usage", and that is where real bills differ: extra numbers, minutes, texts and add-ons are charged on top, and those fees are not refundable.
Below is every price on CallRail's US pricing page as of October 10, 2026, including the higher-volume Lead Tracking tiers that only appear when you open the plan details, plus three example bills worked out from the listed rates.

Included usage and the per-unit rates on top
The base fee covers a fixed amount of usage each month. Anything beyond it is billed with your next invoice at these rates:
| Item | Included each month | Extra cost |
|---|---|---|
| Local tracking numbers | 5 (all plans) | $3 per number |
| Local minutes (with transcription) | 250 (all plans) | $0.06 per minute |
| Toll-free numbers | None | $5 per number |
| Toll-free minutes | None | $0.08 per minute |
| Text messages | 25, available after the trial | $0.03 per text |
| Form submissions | 1,000 on the two Complete plans | $0.02 each |
| Analysis minutes | 10,000 on the two Lead Conversion plans | $0.05 per minute |
Two billing details make minutes go faster than you might expect. CallRail rounds every call up to the next full minute before adding them together, so a 61-second call uses 2 minutes. And the pricing FAQ says overage charges "are not refundable under any circumstances".
The Lead Tracking volume tiers most reviews miss
Lead Tracking is not a single price. The "See all Lead Tracking plans" link on the pricing page opens three larger tiers with more minutes and cheaper unit rates:
| Tier | Yearly (per month) | Monthly | Numbers | Local minutes | Extra number | Extra minute |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | $50 | $55 | 5 | 250 | $3.00 | $0.06 |
| 2 | $68 | $75 | 5 | 750 | $3.00 | $0.06 |
| 3 | $85 | $95 | 10 | 1,000 | $2.50 | $0.05 |
| 4 | $265 | $295 | 40 | 4,000 | $1.75 | $0.045 |

The useful number here is the break-even. On monthly billing, tier 1 plus overage passes tier 2's $75 at about 584 minutes a month ($55 plus 334 extra minutes at $0.06). On yearly billing the crossover is about 550 minutes. If your calls regularly run past that, ask to move up a tier rather than paying overage.
One inconsistency to know about: the expanded table lists toll-free minutes at $0.09 on the first two tiers, while the main comparison table says $0.08. If toll-free numbers matter to you, confirm the rate in your account before you commit.
Three sample CallRail bills, worked out
Here is what a month could cost for three typical setups, using only the listed prices:
- Local service business, Lead Tracking, yearly: 5 numbers and 400 minutes. $50 + 150 extra minutes × $0.06 = $59 a month.
- Busy single location, monthly: 8 numbers, 700 minutes, 60 texts. On tier 1 that is $55 + $9 + $27 + $1.05 = $92.05. On tier 2 the same month is $75 + $9 + $1.05 = $85.05.
- Agency client with web forms, Lead Tracking Complete, yearly: 8 numbers, 600 minutes, 1,200 form submissions, 100 texts. $95 + $9 + $21 + $4 + $2.25 = $131.25 a month.

If you text customers, add texting registration. CallRail's help center says registration itself is free, but a monthly fee of $1.50 is passed through to The Campaign Registry once you are approved.
Yearly billing: about 9% off, with no way out
The yearly toggle in CallRail pricing promises "save up to 10%". Worked out per plan, the saving is $60 a year on Lead Tracking (9.1%), $120 on Lead Tracking Complete (9.5%), $180 on Lead Conversion (9.1%) and $240 on Lead Conversion Complete (9.3%).
The trade-off is flexibility. CallRail's annual plan article says annual plans are nonrefundable, and once you switch you cannot move back to monthly or cancel until the year ends. The full 12-month base fee is charged when you enter payment details, while usage and add-ons are still billed monthly. Annual billing is not available on international plans.
A simple rule: the saving is one month's fee or less, so pay yearly only after the trial and a month or two of real call volume tell you which tier fits.
Add-ons and extra fees to budget for
- Voice Assist (AI receptionist): from $95 a month, on top of Lead Tracking from $55, so at least $150 a month on monthly billing. After 50 Voice Assist calls over 15 seconds, each extra call is $1.
- White label: $65 a month, mainly for agencies reselling call tracking.
- Advanced callflows: $15 a month per company.
- Premium integrations: $80 a month for Salesforce, Marketo, Marin, Kenshoo, Acquisio and Optimizely X.
- API usage: free up to 1,500 calls a month, $80 a month up to 12,000, and $200 a month up to 300,000.
Porting an existing number into CallRail is free, though CallRail says a port usually takes 4 to 6 weeks.
Trial, cancelling and refunds
Every account starts with a 14-day free trial. CallRail does not ask for a credit card and says it will not bill you until the trial ends. Texting is not part of the trial allowance, apart from a test message.
Monthly plans have no long-term contract: an administrator can close the account at any time, keep using it until the billing period ends, and then receives a final invoice for any usage not yet billed. Data stays available for 13 months if you return, but released tracking numbers do not come back, so port out any number you want to keep before you close.
Matching a plan to how your leads arrive
- Calls are your main lead source: Lead Tracking. Start on tier 1 and watch your minutes for a month.
- Leads come from calls and web forms: Lead Tracking Complete, for form attribution and cost-per-lead reports.
- You manage a team that takes sales calls: Lead Conversion, for AI call summaries, sentiment and coaching.
- You need all of it for paid campaigns: Lead Conversion Complete.
If your only goal is counting calls from Google Ads, you may not need a paid tool at all. Our guide on how to track phone calls from Google Ads shows what Google's free call reporting covers and where CallRail adds value. If you need a business phone line rather than attribution, a VoIP plan such as those in our Calilio pricing review is the closer match.
If CallRail fits, you can start CallRail's 14-day trial without a card and measure your real call volume before choosing a tier. We list current offers on our CallRail discount page.

How we checked these prices
On October 10, 2026 we read CallRail's US pricing page in both its yearly and monthly views, opened the expanded Lead Tracking plan table, and read its pricing FAQ, plus CallRail help center articles on annual plans, closing an account, texting registration and number porting. We worked out the yearly savings, break-even points and sample bills ourselves from the listed rates. No CallRail account was used for client work while writing this, so treat it as a documentation-based cost guide. Other lead and sales tools sit in Sales Prospecting & CRM, and our research and review process explains how we verify prices.
