Suppose you budget $20 a month for Emergent. You build an app, deploy it, and halfway through the month the credits are gone. That surprise is common, because Emergent pricing has three layers: the plan you pick, the extra credits you buy, and the credits a live app uses every month. This guide prices all three, with the math worked out.
Quick answer: Emergent pricing starts at $0 on Free (10 credits a month), $20 a month on Standard (100 credits) and $200 a month on Pro (750 credits). Annual billing cuts Standard to $17 and Pro to $167 a month. Extra credits cost about $0.20 each, and every deployed app uses 50 credits a month.
Emergent pricing: plans and prices (October 2026)
| Plan | Billed monthly | Billed annually | Credits each month | Price per included credit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | 10 | $0 |
| Standard | $20 | $17 a month ($204 a year) | 100 | $0.20 (annual: $0.17) |
| Pro | $200 | $167 a month ($2,004 a year) | 750 | $0.27 (annual: $0.22) |
There is also a separate Enterprise tab on the pricing page for teams. Subscription credits reset at the end of each billing cycle, so the 100 or 750 credits are a monthly allowance, not a balance that grows.

Is Emergent Pro cheaper per credit? No
The last column of the table above is the surprise. Pro's included credits cost more each than Standard's, and more than buying extra credits. Emergent's help center lists top-up credits at $0.20 each in the standard bundles, and they can be added to any plan.

Work it through for someone who needs 750 credits in a month:
- Standard plus top-ups: $20 for 100 credits, plus 650 extra credits at $0.20, equals $150.
- Pro: $200 for the same 750 credits.
On annual billing the gap shrinks but does not close: $17 plus $130 equals $147, against $167 for Pro. Below 750 credits a month, Standard plus top-ups is always the cheaper way to buy credits. So if you upgrade to Pro, do it for its features, not for its credits.
What extra Emergent credits cost

| Bundle | Price | Per credit |
|---|---|---|
| 5 credits | $1 | $0.20 (listed as a special introductory offer) |
| 100 credits | $20 | $0.20 |
| 250 credits | $50 | $0.20 |
| 500 credits | $100 | $0.20 |
| 3,000 credits | $500 | $0.167 (includes a 20% bonus) |
| 6,000 credits | $1,000 | $0.167 (20% off) |
Two rules make top-ups more flexible than plan credits. They never expire, and Emergent uses your monthly plan credits first and touches top-ups only after those run out. That makes a bulk bundle a reasonable buy for anyone with uneven months: credits you do not need in a quiet month are still there in a busy one.
What it costs to keep an app online
Building is only half the bill. Keeping an app deployed costs 50 credits a month per app, according to Emergent's help center. Converted to dollars at the top-up rate, that is about $10 a month per live app, or $120 a year, on top of whatever you spend building.
| Live apps | Hosting credits a month | Hosting cost at $0.20 a credit | Left for building on Standard |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 50 | $10 a month | 50 of 100 credits |
| 2 | 100 | $20 a month | None, all 100 credits |
| 3 | 150 | $30 a month | None; 50 top-up credits needed |
According to Emergent's help center, deployments stay active after you cancel a plan as long as your account holds 50 credits. That is one more reason top-ups, which never expire, matter for anyone running a live app.
What each plan unlocks besides credits

- Free: all core platform features, web and mobile building, access to advanced models and one-click LLM integration. Private hosting and GitHub sync start on Standard.
- Standard adds: private project hosting, GitHub integration and forking tasks.
- Pro adds: a 1M-token context window, "ultra thinking", system prompt editing, custom AI agents, high-performance computing and priority support. Emergent's FAQ also describes its E1.5 agent as aimed at Pro users.
Pro makes sense when a feature solves a real problem, for example a codebase too large for a normal context window, or a need for custom agents. Emergent does not publish whether Pro's features reduce the credits a task uses, so do not count on that as a saving.
Monthly or annual billing?
Annual billing saves $36 a year on Standard ($204 instead of $240) and $396 a year on Pro ($2,004 instead of $2,400). Because you pay for the year upfront, it only beats monthly billing if you would have kept paying for at least 11 months: ten monthly Standard payments come to $200, still less than the $204 annual price.
Our suggestion: stay monthly for the first couple of months while you learn how many credits your projects use, then switch to annual once your usage is steady. Emergent's terms say payments are generally non-refundable, so an annual plan is hard to undo.
Which Emergent plan fits your budget?
| Your situation | Best option | Estimated monthly cost |
|---|---|---|
| Trying the builder on one small idea, nothing live yet | Free | $0 |
| One live app, light editing (up to 50 build credits) | Standard | $20, or $17 billed annually |
| One live app, active building (about 250 build credits) | Standard plus 200 top-up credits | $60, or $57 billed annually |
| Agency or founder with three live apps and steady building (about 600 credits in total) | Standard plus 500 top-up credits | $120, or $117 billed annually |
| You need the 1M context window, custom agents or priority support | Pro | $200, or $167 billed annually |
The build-credit figures in this table are examples to show the math. Emergent gives no official credit cost per task, so measure your own: run one feature on the free plan and note the credits it takes. Our Emergent review covers why credit use varies so much from one project to the next.

How much does Emergent cost per month?
Emergent's Free plan costs $0 and includes 10 credits a month. Standard costs $20 a month for 100 credits, and Pro costs $200 a month for 750 credits. With annual billing, Standard drops to $17 a month and Pro to $167 a month. Extra credits cost about $0.20 each.
Is Emergent Pro worth it?
Only if you need its features. Pro's 750 credits cost about $0.27 each, while Standard plus top-up credits costs $0.20 each, so 750 credits cost $150 that way against $200 on Pro. Pay for Pro if you need its 1M context window, custom agents, ultra thinking or priority support.
How much does it cost to host an app on Emergent?
Each deployed app uses 50 credits a month, which works out to about $10 a month at the top-up rate of $0.20 per credit. On the Standard plan, one live app uses half of your 100 monthly credits, and two live apps use all of them.
Do unused Emergent credits roll over?
No for plan credits, yes for top-ups. The 10, 100 or 750 credits that come with a plan reset when a new billing month starts, so whatever is left is lost. Credits you buy as top-ups stay in your balance with no expiry date and are only used once the month's plan credits are gone.
Is there an Emergent discount?
The built-in savings are annual billing, which saves $36 a year on Standard and $396 a year on Pro, and the large top-up bundles, which add a 20% bonus. We list every offer we can verify on our Emergent coupons and deals page.
Can you cancel Emergent anytime?
Yes. Under Emergent's terms, cancelling from the Account page stops the next renewal, and you keep access for the period you already paid for. There are no partial refunds for unused time, and unused monthly credits expire at the end of the cycle.
How we checked Emergent's prices
We read every price on Emergent's pricing page with both the monthly and annual toggles, and took top-up bundles, hosting costs and credit rules from Emergent's help center and terms of service, all on October 1, 2026. The per-credit prices, hosting costs and scenario totals are our own calculations from those figures. Emergent's FAQ page still showed older plan details on that date, so we relied on the live pricing page. Browse more AI app builders, or see how we review software.
