The cheapest RocketReach alternatives charge about 2.5 to 10 cents per verified work email at 500 to 2,000 emails a month, against 20 to 69 cents on RocketReach's monthly plans. FullEnrich is the lowest-cost swap at around 500 emails a month, Hunter and Prospeo win at 2,000, and Prospeo's free plan covers a 100-email month at no cost. RocketReach still earns its price in two cases: you mostly need direct dials, or you pay yearly and stay inside its export limits.

This guide prices eight tools at the same three monthly volumes, explains where RocketReach's lookup model costs you more, and lists what to export before you cancel so you do not lose saved contacts. For the wider category, browse all our sales outreach tool guides.

Which RocketReach alternative is cheapest for your volume?

The answer changes with how many emails you need each month, so the table prices every tool three times. Each cell is the cheapest self-serve plan for one user, billed monthly, that includes enough work-email credits for that volume, divided by the number of emails you actually use.

RocketReach alternatives priced per verified email at 100, 500 and 2,000 emails a month: Prospeo, Hunter, FullEnrich, Snov.io, Apollo, Kaspr and Lusha all cost less than RocketReach at every volume
Cost per work email at three monthly volumes, one user, monthly billing. Saazora's math from vendor pricing pages, October 13, 2026.

Three things to read into the grid:

  • At 100 emails, free plans stack. Prospeo gives 100 credits a month, Apollo 75 per seat, Hunter 50 and Lusha 40. Two free accounts can carry a light month without any bill.
  • At 500, the plan size matters more than the brand. RocketReach has no monthly plan between 250 lookups (Pro, $119) and 1,000 (Ultimate, $209), so a 500-email month forces the bigger tier. FullEnrich's 500-credit plan fits that month exactly.
  • At 2,000, flat plans pull away. Hunter Starter and Prospeo Starter both include 2,000 credits for $49, so each email costs about 2.5 cents.

Why does RocketReach cost more per email?

RocketReach sells contacts, not email credits. One lookup reveals a person and is only spent when RocketReach returns at least one verified email or phone number; otherwise it is refunded. That is fair on hard-to-find people, but the monthly plans are small: Essentials is $69 for 100 email-only lookups, Pro is $119 for 250 lookups with phones, and Ultimate is $209 for 1,000. Our full RocketReach plan and lookup breakdown lists every tier.

Yearly billing changes the math. Annual plans have unlimited lookups (with a fair use limit of 10,000 a month) but cap exports, and an export is spent each time a contact leaves RocketReach: a CSV download, a CRM sync, the API or MCP. Divide each yearly price by its export cap and you get the real cost of an email you can use elsewhere:

RocketReach annual planPrice per yearExports per yearCost per exported contact
Essentials (email only)$3991,200$0.33
Pro (email and phone)$8993,600$0.25
Ultimate (email and phone)$1,69920,000$0.085

If you copy contacts by hand from the web app or the browser extension, lookups stay unmetered and these caps never bite. If your workflow runs through a CRM or CSV files, budget by exports, not lookups. Ultimate yearly at 8.5 cents per exported contact, with phone numbers on the plan, is competitive, and it is the strongest argument for staying.

Two more points in RocketReach's favour: monthly lookup credits roll over on Essentials, Pro and Ultimate, according to its help center, and a single lookup on Pro or Ultimate can return both an email and a phone at no extra cost. 7 RocketReach alternatives, matched to how you use it

FullEnrich: the closest swap for list enrichment

If you mostly upload lists to RocketReach, FullEnrich does the same job by checking 25+ data providers in turn. Credits go only on found, verified data: 1 per work email, 3 per personal email, 10 per mobile, and nothing for a landline or a miss. Pro starts at $29 a month for 500 credits ($26 a month yearly), the free trial adds 50 credits with no card, users are unlimited, and unused credits roll over for 3 months on monthly billing or 12 on yearly.

Switch if you enrich CSVs or HubSpot records in batches. Stay if you need phones on most contacts: at 10 credits each, a mobile costs about 58 cents on the 500-credit tier. Bigger tiers lower the price per credit, as our page on FullEnrich's volume tiers and price per credit shows. You can run your own list through FullEnrich on the free credits first; current offers sit on our FullEnrich deals and free credits page.

Prospeo: most free credits, cheap at scale

Prospeo's Free plan has no time limit and renews 100 credits every month. Starter is $49 per user a month, or $37 yearly, for 2,000 credits a month (24,000 a year upfront on yearly billing); Growth is $99 for 5,000 and adds HubSpot and Salesforce sync. One credit buys one verified business email, none is used if no email is found, a mobile number costs 10 credits, and unused credits roll over to the next cycle.

Switch if you search by filters and export lists. Stay if you need native CRM sync on a budget: that starts on Growth, not Starter. Extra credits start at 1,000 for $10.

Hunter: best when you start from a company domain

Hunter shows the addresses and email pattern for a domain, then verifies them. An email found costs 1 credit and a verification half a credit; in Bulk Domain Search, 1 credit covers up to 10 emails found, and no credit is used when nothing turns up. Free gives 50 credits a month; Starter is $49 monthly or $34 yearly for 2,000, with unlimited team members on every plan.

Switch if you prospect accounts rather than named people. Stay if you rely on phone numbers, which Hunter's pricing page does not offer. Its credits reset monthly with no rollover.

Snov.io: finder plus cold email in one flat price

Snov.io pairs an email finder and verifier with campaigns, warm-up and a simple CRM. Starter costs $39 a month for 1,000 credits and 5,000 recipients, or $29.25 a month on yearly billing; Pro S is $99 for 5,000 credits. Snov.io charges 1 credit per prospect found and 1 per address verified, and every plan includes unlimited team seats. The free Trial renews every 30 days with 50 credits, but it has no export, bulk search or API.

Switch if you also want sequences and would otherwise pay for RocketReach plus a sending tool. Stay if LinkedIn automation is the point: Snov.io charges $69 a month per LinkedIn slot on top.

Apollo.io: database, sequences and dialer behind one login

Apollo bundles a large contact database with sequences, a dialer and a pipeline. Free gives 75 credits per seat a month. Basic runs $65 per seat on monthly billing ($49 on yearly) and grants 2,500 credits to each seat every month; Professional is $99 ($79 yearly) for 4,000. Revealing an email uses 1 credit, while revealing a phone number uses 8.

Switch if you are one or two sellers who want everything in one place. Stay if you are adding people: Apollo bills every seat, and its pricing FAQ says unused credits expire at the end of each billing cycle.

Lusha: phones and emails from a browser extension

Lusha's Free plan gives 40 credits a month and one seat, no card needed. On monthly billing, Starter is $49.90 for 400 credits and Pro is $69.90 for 600, with the Pro price scaling as you add credits ($249.90 for 2,200). Yearly billing takes about 25% off, with Starter at $37.45 a month. Lusha's FAQ counts 1 credit per email and 5 per revealed phone number, and Pro credits roll over up to twice the monthly amount.

Switch if you look people up one by one on LinkedIn or company sites and want phones at 5 credits. Stay if you mainly need emails in volume: at 2,000 a month Lusha costs five times what Hunter does.

Kaspr: LinkedIn lookups with "unlimited" emails

Kaspr works inside LinkedIn, Sales Navigator and Recruiter Lite. Free includes 15 B2B email credits, 5 phone credits and 5 direct email credits a month. Starter is $65 per user a month ($49 yearly) with unlimited B2B email credits and 100 phone credits a month; Business is $99 ($79 yearly) with 200 phone and 200 direct email credits. "Unlimited" is subject to Kaspr's fair use policy, and Starter allows up to 12,000 exports a year.

Switch if your prospecting starts and ends on LinkedIn. Stay if you need bulk lists from filters outside LinkedIn, where RocketReach's search is more flexible.

How to switch from RocketReach without losing contacts

RocketReach's help center is clear on what happens at cancellation: paid features stay on until the end of the billing cycle, remaining lookups and export credits then expire without a refund, and saved contacts, Autopilot, Messages and integrations lock until you resubscribe. Plan the move around that date.

  1. Find your renewal date. It is under Account Settings, then Usage & Billing. Cancel before that date to stop the next charge; RocketReach says plans bought online carry no cancellation penalty.
  2. Spend what is left. Use remaining lookups on the contacts you will need next quarter, because they do not survive the cycle.
  3. Export My Contacts to CSV. On annual plans each exported profile uses one export credit, so check your balance first and export the most valuable lists if credits are short.
  4. Test the replacement on free credits. Run the same 25 to 50 contacts through one or two alternatives while RocketReach is still active, and compare what comes back.
  5. Cancel, or downgrade instead. A downgrade takes effect at the next billing date. Free accounts can still log in and search after a paid plan ends.

RocketReach alternative questions

Is there a free alternative to RocketReach?

Yes. Prospeo tops up its Free plan with 100 credits each month and never expires it. Apollo's free tier adds 75 per seat monthly, Hunter's free account 50 and Lusha's 40. RocketReach's own free account starts with 5 lookups and does not renew monthly.

What is the cheapest RocketReach alternative for phone numbers?

On entry plans with monthly billing, Apollo's 8 credits per phone come to about 21 cents on Basic, and Prospeo's 10 credits per mobile to about 25 cents on Starter. Lusha (5 credits on Starter) and FullEnrich (10 credits on Pro) work out near 60 cents. RocketReach Pro is about 48 cents per lookup, with the email included.

Is Apollo cheaper than RocketReach?

For one seat, yes: Apollo Basic includes 2,500 email credits for $65 a month, while RocketReach Essentials includes 100 lookups for $69. RocketReach can still come out ahead on yearly Ultimate if you need phones and use most of the 20,000 exports.

Do I lose my RocketReach contacts when I cancel?

You keep access until the billing cycle ends. After that, My Contacts and integrations are locked until you resubscribe, so export your contacts to CSV before the renewal date.

How we compared the prices

All figures were collected on October 13, 2026 from the vendors' own pricing pages and the FAQs printed on them: US list prices on both billing cycles, the credits each plan grants, the credit cost of an email or phone, and any free allowance. Where a page hid numbers behind a toggle, we loaded it in a browser and switched to monthly billing. RocketReach's monthly and per-seat team prices were read from the JSON plan list that feeds its pricing page, and its rules on cancelling, exporting and rollover from its help center. FullEnrich's tiers come from the pricing summary file it publishes. Cost per email assumes every credit goes to work emails and is our own math; real find rates vary by list. This is a research-based comparison, not a hands-on accuracy test. Findymail was left out because its pricing page could not be read on the check date. Read how Saazora researches software.
