What is Bright Data?
Bright Data is a web data platform for collecting public web data at scale. It sells proxy networks (400M+ rotating residential IPs in 195 countries, plus 1.3M+ ISP and 1.3M+ datacenter proxies), unblocking APIs (Web Unlocker, SERP API, Browser API), ready-made Scraper APIs for 800+ websites, and pre-collected datasets. Most products bill pay-as-you-go or as a monthly plan with included usage, and you can pay by card, PayPal, Google Pay, wire transfer or the AWS Marketplace.

Which Bright Data plan should you choose?
If you only need pages unblocked, Web Unlocker is the simplest choice: it handles CAPTCHAs and retries and needs no KYC. Use the SERP API for search results and the Browser API ($8 per GB) for sites that need a real browser. Choose Residential Proxies when you run your own scraper against strict sites and need geo-targeting; Datacenter IPs are cheapest for simple targets, and ISP proxies give static IPs. Start pay-as-you-go and move to a monthly plan once volume is steady.
Is Bright Data worth it?
Bright Data is worth it for teams that need reliable, large-scale public web data, with a huge proxy pool and APIs that handle unblocking.
