What is Kartra?
Kartra is an all-in-one platform for selling expertise online. One account covers a drag-and-drop page builder, email and SMS campaigns, forms, checkouts, membership and course portals, video hosting, calendars, funnel mapping and Kartra AI for writing page and email copy. Higher plans add automations, funnel simulation, affiliate management, surveys, helpdesk and real-time analytics. Kartra says it is HIPAA compliant at no additional cost.

Every way to save on Kartra
- Pay yearly. Yearly billing cuts every plan, from 12% on Essentials to 22% on Professional.
- Start with the 14-day trial. Test any plan before your first full charge, keeping in mind one trial per person per product.
- Skip Essentials if you sell a lot. Essentials charges 5% transaction fees on your sales; Starter and up charge 0%.
- Watch your contact count. Going over your plan's contact limit upgrades you automatically, with a mid-cycle reconciliation fee.
- Use the 30-day refund window. New customers can ask for a refund within 30 days of starting a subscription.

Pick Essentials only to launch one product or course to a small list, since it caps you at 500 contacts and 5 pages. Most creators should start on Starter: unlimited pages, products and courses, video hosting, calendars, 5 team members and no transaction fees. Choose Growth when you need automations, an affiliate program, quizzes or helpdesk, and Professional for 25,000 contacts, 5 domains and real-time funnel analytics.
Is Kartra worth it?
Kartra is worth it for course creators and coaches who would otherwise pay for a page builder, email tool, checkout, membership site and scheduler separately. The trade-offs: Essentials is very limited, plan prices climb quickly with your contact count, trials lock API and automation features, and refunds are limited to new customers in the first 30 days.
