A local number adds $10 a month on both billing options, plus a $4 one-time carrier registration, so the smallest plan really costs $39 a month billed monthly or $33.20 a month on yearly billing. Extra credits cost 5.5 cents each on the 500-text plan, falling to 2 cents on the 50,000-text plan. Carriers add about $0.0025 per message in the US and $0.0068 in Canada, which SimpleTexting says it never marks up. MMS costs 3 credits per message, extra teammates are $20 a month per user, and extra numbers are $10 a month each.
Pick the tier by how many texts you send in a normal month, not your busiest month: rollover covers small spikes on monthly plans, and extra credits are billed per message. A local business sending a weekly offer to a few hundred subscribers fits the 500- or 1,000-text plan. Stores and agencies sending to several thousand contacts get a lower price per extra credit on the larger tiers. Choose yearly billing once your volume is stable; stay monthly while you are still testing, because the money-back guarantee only covers monthly plans.
SimpleTexting is worth it for small businesses that want an easy SMS tool with unlimited contacts, three users and seven-day live support included.
